5 Colorful Towns on the Italian Coast That You've Probably Never Heard of..

We're in Italiaaaaaaaa - and wanted to share five of the cutest towns that have given us all the inspo for future collections! We've got the insiders guide for you on these tiny towns - each has its own unique personality, so definitely rent a car and visit all the spots if you can! Whether you're taking a mother/daughter trip, or going on your honeymoon, save these for later <3

Bogliasco

Hello electric blue water! This town delivers all the views from the top - I mean look at this .. it's giving Tahiti!

With an array of colorful hues, Bogliasco doesn't hide its character. From this exact spot, there is a cute photo opp moment with a surfboard that says the name of the town if you're trying to get the perfect 'gram. Grab an aperitivo at the many spots that hug the shore for the best sunset viewing spot in the area.

Parking is bit tricky here - you'll need to ride around for a bit to find a spot, or you can always take the train!

Rapallo

We LOVE Rapallo - it will always have a special place in our hearts and is the hidden gem on the Ligurian coast that we will never get enough of.

Close enough to the popular neighboring towns of Santa Margherita, Portofino and the Cinque Terre, it is one of our favorite home bases when spending time in the region. Wander the quaint streets and the cutest corners as you stumble upon the most incredible pasticcerias and cafès. Tossini is a must-visit for fresh foccacia, and check out Rapalà for incredible food.

Sori

Love the colors of the Cinque Terre but hate the crowds? Sori is for you! A real-life postcard, Sori delivers all the classic colors of the Ligurian coast, with a stunning bell tower that steals the spotlight. The beachfront pool gives a California coastal vibe, while the aquaduct and footbridges cut through the center of the town, giving it a super unique, locals-only vibe!

Porto Ercole

Located in the region of Tuscany, this low key fishing marina is the perfect place to escape the touristy vibes found in other places along the coast. Located in Monte Argentario, there is so much beauty surrounding this town and some of the clearest waters you will ever find in Italy. Grab a paddle board and explore the caves that line the coast.

Lerici

Hugging the Golfo dei Poeti, or Bay of Poets, Lerici is pure magic. Sounds of seagulls fill the air and sing harmoniously throughout the town during golden hour. 1918 Ristorante has an amazing location within the piazza and does not disappoint when it comes to fresh seafood. Check out Il Fagolo for dinner in a cave-like setting, the owner/chef is super sweet and welcoming, and personally prepares delicious food.

Eco del Mare is an amazing beach club in the dreamiest private cove imaginable - turquoise glistening waters await. It is a bit of a hike down to the actual beach, but so worth it.

There is an amazing outdoor market along the water in Lerici where you can purchase fresh vegetables, cheeses & anything your heart desires really. We love Lerici.
